Gambaryan, an American citizen and former IRS agent, was detained in February after arriving in Abuja to discuss Binance’s operations amid concerns of “suspicious flows.”

While detained, Gambaryan faced harsh conditions, reportedly suffering from pneumonia, malaria, and spinal issues, with bail repeatedly denied.

His case attracted international attention, sparking calls for his release from family and Binance CEO Richard Teng.

Following the dismissal of all charges, Gambaryan returned to the U.S. for medical treatment within 24 hours.
